Does anyone have experience with tarot cards?

Ok, so last week I bought some tarot cards. I bought a beginner set with the gilded cards. They are really pretty. Anyone I have done some spreads and am slowly figuring out the meanings of the cards without having to look them up. I think there is some truth to the cards. I did a relationship spread with my boyfriend and one of his exes. The spread had 3 cards on his exes behalf that centered around blond or golden hair. His ex has blonde hair. It also stated that she had a young man around her who can't be trusted. My boyfriends ex is way older than he is. I also have pulled the 8 of pentacles reversed 3 times, which means a person may may fail courses or exams. I am struggling in my management cles in school.
