Question about my DIY CO2, with a T connector.?
The T connector works either way-- one to two, or two to one. If you're sure there aren't any air leaks, just let it be-- chances are there is still too much oxygen in the bottle. The reaction that's taking place is fermentation (similar to the process that makes bread and beer), which is anaerobic (NO oxygen). The yeast is breaking down the sugar, producing CO2. Any oxygen in the mixture will essentially kill the yeast, rendering the entire mixture dead until all the oxygen is gone. If nothing happens within two days of the bottles being connected, consider just having two unconnected bottles producing CO2, if you had more success with that.
