Do i not matter to my once best friend anymore?

Ok so, my friend of 5 years came down to the city she used to reside in but has now moved away from due to studies etc. I haven't seen here in like 7 months. She and our other friend made plans to meet up today and I was invited. I didn't have a means of transport to get there, so this very same friend offered to fetch me from my place. But. Nothing happened. She and my other friend went ahead with their plans and she didn't even let me know whether she'd fetch me or not, or what's going on. If she couldn't make it to fetch me, she could've atleast TOLD me. Or should I have phoned to find out what's the story? My pride got in the way there, I mean she did tell me she'll organise the transport for me, so I was waiting for her to confirm. Phoning to find out about the transport would make me seem like I'm begging to be taken so I avoided it. I haven't seen her for 7 whole months and she makes no effort whatsoever to meet me, I doubt she'll even come over to visit. I'm not gonna ask her about it, coz i'll seem like a whiner and she'd only come to see me the next time coz of my complaints about not seeing her, just to shut me up. I want her to come around to visit because she WANTS to see me, not because I nagged and whined about her not visiting. I want her to make some sort of effort. It's like she just doesn't give a damn about meeting me anymore and her other friend is more important to her. It hurts. Am I now the outcast in this group? Should I confront her about her not making any efforts to see me? Ofcourse, you know why I don't want to do that, as mentioned above but should I confront her anyway? do i not matter to her anymore since she did this?
