Do you girls dislike extra attention?Why does everyone try to read between the lines?

I know you're trying to be nice and you sound nice, but girls see that as you trying to "buy" their affection. And if you pay too much attention to a girl, she begins seeing you as less. You need to have a life away from just her, at least at this point. It just sends up alarms when you try to get too close too fast, no matter what your intentions.
