Yes , this is true, but the amount of ethanol required to obtain the same results is far greater. Alcohol will also burn more efficiently, but at three times the volume and with higher compression ratios. I have not heard of any stock piles of saved up alcohol or ethanol. On the other hand, hydrogen is in abundant supply and can be produced with Hydrogen generators. Yet no major corporation is jumping on the possibilities of a hydrogen vehicle, WHY, answer, big oil would step in and squash you like a bug. We need to have federal intervention in order to make this happen and not by corrupt politicians. OK I'm done venting, gosh I feel better.
