Surgery When Pregnant.?

Ok, on the 18th of May I got bit by a cat. On the 19th I was admitted to the hospital for severe infection, my hand was huge and I had red streaking up my arm. The next day on the 20th I had emergency surgery to remove the infection, they did do a urine pregnancy test and it was negative. Hubby and I stopped trying (after a year) and we knew it was impossible since we only did the baby dance once (no where close to ovulation). So, the day after surgery I had some bleeding, but it was very light and thought it was AF coming. Three days ago I realized I never got my period, took a test and WHAM I'm pregnant! We're so excited, but has anyone ever experienced something like this? We're concerned since I had general anasthesia and I took Percocet for the 4 days I was in the hospital. I would have lost my hand if I did not have the surgery. Doctor says it was before organ development so I should be ok. Was everything ok w/ your pregnancies?
